Everything sounds muffled. I ave the loudest ringing EVER in my left ear. I'm way dizzy and bumping into things. My brain seems to be on 5-minute
delay.
And of course, this happens on my vacation weekend.

What do you do to help it?
So far, I've used swimmer's ear drops, alcohol, and now i just bought earache drops. Nothing is helping!! |

I have an icepack on my face!
I'm sure I look awesome.. I was
hoping you had a remedy for it!
I'm on Ammoxil for the tonsillectomy surgery I just had.. I'm hoping that'll prevent any serious infection.. but the pressure on my ears is killing me! |

I just wish my damn ear would pop. The muffliness comes and goes, so I know it's not too far away.
I think I'm gonna put some of the earache drops in again and stuff a cotton ball in there. Maybe it'll help more if I leave the drops in longer? |

flatxchewxlate wrote: DON'T STUFF A COTTONBALL IN THERE!!! That would make it worse. Put the drops in, then lie with that ear facing up for at least 15 minutes. I woke up this morning with a totally clogged ear too, and it does suck. My only comfort is that it doesn't hurt. As a kid, I had chronic ear infections and they were
excruciatingly painful.

Try taking some nasal decongestants. They prevent my ears from popping on airplanes so I tried them once when I had the same problem as you and it worked, with
a little extra yawning here and there.
